This hood did fit my 2008 honda civic ex sedan. It did come damaged on the two corner tips so I think they worked out the issue but when ordering make sure they protect the corner tips.

Hi Philip,
It is your option to do so. You can have it painted with clear coat(the wrap on would not stick firmly with primer paint), then install the vinyl wrap on so it would stick firm. Or the best permanent solution is to have it painted matching your car's original color.
